About Me & My Blog

What better way to start off my blog than by letting you know a bit more about me and what I am going to be posting about on my blog. 

About me
Hi, my name is Georgina but most people call me Georgie so it seems a bit odd to be putting 'Georgina'. I am 17 years old and live in the UK (which has its perks, even though the weather is rubbish 99% of the time!). I am currently in college studying Sociology, Psychology and English Language which can all be very interesting to learn about. In the future I am hoping to go to university and continue studying Sociology. In my family we have 2 dogs, one of which is mine. We have a Yorkie called Barney and my dog is a Jack Russell called Lola (who is a lot of trouble). Also, I am in a long distance relationship which yes, is hard at times, but is also one of the best things to happen to me. I'm sure I will be posting a lot about us and the things we get up to... we love to travel. Some of my hobbies include; reading, working out, watching Netflix (of course) and cooking/baking. 

Why I am starting to blog
I thought that starting a blog would be a good way to keep track of all the things I get up to, the experiences I may have and to share some things about my interests/hobbies because, let's face it, I'm not going to be the only one with these interests and hobbies. Also, I think a blog would be a good way to find other people with similar interests and interact with anyone that enjoys reading my blog through social media. I know a lot of people will probably read my blog thinking 'she's only doing this to try and get big' but really, I am doing this because I love to blog and I am using this as a place to keep a diary of what I get up to. I think it will be really nice for me to be able to look back on everything in a few years time.

What will I post? 
On this blog, I will be posting about the events/places I go to and am also going to make this a blog about fashion and beauty. Occasionally there might be some more serious posts or rants about things that happen but I hope that through some of my posts people find that they can relate to me and enjoy reading. I will be trying to upload as regularly as I can but it shouldn't be too long between each post because it's a casual blog. Also, as I am 17 I think there will be so many new things that I will be experiencing that I can post about and I think this would be a really good time to start posting.
