I know that I haven't been posting as much as I should have been recently but I have been really busy. But, to sort everything out I have decided to make blogging a bit more of a routine. So that I don't write down any plans and lose them because they are on paper, I thought writing a post would be better because you all get to see it too and know what I am going to do.
So that I am more organised, I am going to be writing loads of posts in advance or ones that can be posted at any time for when I am too busy to plan posts and write them. A lot of the time I find myself going to blog but then somethings comes up and I have to leave it until I can find some time to fit it in again. Planning posts ahead should have been something I started as soon as I started this blog, I know, but I just didn't think I would need to.
I am also going to be saving up to buy a whiteboard so that I can hang it somewhere on my bedroom wall or lean it somewhere on my desk, just with a reminder that I need to blog or at least plan some posts. Leaving reminders for yourself in general would be good so that when you see it you'll know that it has to be done and it's always there for if you forget again. Just remember, don't wipe of the message until you have actually done it.
Reminders in my phone might also be a good thing to do because I can set a certain time each week for me to spend blogging. Also, downloading the Blogger app onto my phone or iPad could also be good as I could work on writing some posts while I am out and about or travelling.
I have so many ideas to find ways of keeping me motivated and posting enough so I will definitely start to be more active now.
Sorry for leaving it so long and I will see you soon x
Review: Garnier Micellar Water
I have heard loads of people praising micellar cleansing water when they are asked about keeping their skin nice and healthy so I thought it would be good for me to try it. I looked on Superdrug's website and saw that they had a 125ml bottle of Gainer's cleansing water for £1 and thought it would be a good start.
I have got really sensitive skin and usually things for sensitive skin are more expensive for a reliable brand. But, I know that Garnier is reliable and this particular bottle was for sensitive skin so it was a win-win situation. The only doubts that I had about the water was if it would actually work and whether 125ml would go really quickly.
I use this cleansing water when I wake up in the mornings and also use it before going to bed and I have to say I still have LOADS left. Even though the bottle is small is spreads out really well and I only ever need a couple of drops and one cotton pad. The first time I used it I could definitely feel it working and soothing my skin. I have been using it for about a week now and I think my skin looks and feels a lot nicer now. Other people have said it's also worked nicely too so if you are thinking of getting some micellar water, I would definitely recommend the Garnier one!
Superdrug do a bigger bottle that is 400ml for £4.99 but it is currently on sale for £3.29. When I finish the bottle I have now I will definitely be doing back and getting a bigger bottle because my skin is so much better for it.
Overall I would say that the Garnier Micellar cleansing water is really good and the price is also another good thing about it because it isn't too expensive and you are getting a lot for the price. It lasts a long time because you don't need much and it basically works from day 1!
I hope you enjoyed reading, if there was anything else you would like to know then follow me on Twitter and Instagram and give me a dm!

What's In My Day-To-Day Bag?
I am currently trying to get into the habit of taking a handbag with me everywhere I go but I am never able to actually do so because I can never decide which bag I want because all of mine are either too big, too small or don't have long enough straps. But, I think I solved that issue with my new bag from New Look (look at my New Look haul post to see which bag it is).
I thought that a fun post to do would be a 'what's in my bag?' because surprisingly, for someone that doesn't always carry their bag around, I have quite a lot in it.
The first thing that is always in my bag is my phone. I have got an iPhone 6 which I think is really good and the battery always lasts throughout the day. This is one thing that I would always have on me but whether it is in my bag or pocket is a different story haha.
A pen might seem like a weird thing to have in your bag but you never know when you are going to need one and to be honest with you all, having a pen in my bag has saved me quite a few times. Sometimes to go with the pen I will put my notebook in my bag but this is mainly if I am going out somewhere nice for the day/on holiday so I can make notes and write posts about it.
I would be a bit worried if I left the house without my purse as it always stays in my bag, even when I am at home. I like to keep my purse in my bag because if I am in a rush I know I can just pick up my bag and leave without wondering if I have it. If I am travelling and am unable to get a lift to/from wherever I am going I get the bus so I am always needing my purse.
When the weather gets colder, my hands always get really dry and start to crack. So, recently I bought some hand cream and now carry that around with me everywhere I go just so that my hands don't end up back how they were because it really wasn't nice. Another thing I keep with me is a Nivea lip balm so that I can keep my lips hydrated because they also start cracking.
A body spray is also something I just HAVE to take with me wherever I go. If I am ever at a concert or a busy place it's always nice to be able to just give yourself a quick spray so that you know you smell nice. Of course I wear deodorant but it's nice knowing that you don't smell bad, especially if there is someone near you who does haha.
Depending on where I am going and who I am seeing I sometimes like to take my camera/Polaroid with me just so that I can capture some of the moments. Polaroids are always nice to take when you are with friends or loved ones because the picture prints instantly and you can hang/pin it straight up on your wall when you get home. The only bad thing I would say about them is that you only get one picture out of it so there isn't going to be one of the same pictures for everyone.
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed.

Getting Fit For A 5K Run
Last night was the night my mum and I finally decided to start our workout plan ready for the Cancer Research 5K Muddy Run that we are taking part in this year. I use to workout all the time but through my GCSEs and things I stopped and really wished I hadn't. But now, I have something to motivate me and keep me going so even when I have completed the run, I am still going to continue with these workouts.
The workout plan consists of two things: jogging/walking and an actual workout. Yesterday was day 1 of jogging so we had to jog for a minute and then walk for a following minute and repeat this 10 times (20 minutes worth of exercise). To me, the jogging wasn't that hard and the 1 minute walking breaks definitely helped me a lot. It definitely wasn't easy and I don't mean to make it sound easy if that's what I am doing. This is all a challenge for me because I am definitely not a fit and active person.
Through the week the jogging and walking time will increase (obviously) but by the end of week 1 we will be doing a 2 minute easy run followed by 1 minute breaks. By the end of the 6 week plan though we will be doing 15 minutes of continuous running.
Today we will be doing the workout side. This involves side planking, mountain climbers, Russian twists and shoulder presses. I think the workout would be the easiest part of this training because I use to do 3 of the 4 exercises anyway. I think the planking will be the hardest part for me as I have no upper arm strength and I think you have to rely on your arm quite a lot.
Throughout all this working out I am also starting to eat healthy. I am going to start eating more fruit and veg while cutting out chocolate and treats like that. I think a healthy diet will also help a lot as it helps to lose weight and stay fit anyway. Hopefully, through this training I will also be able to lose a lot of weight. I have been wanting to do this for sometime as I have never really been confident in myself so this will definitely help me.
If you are thinking of starting a weekly workout plan like this you can always go onto the Cancer Research website and print off one of their walk, jog or run plans. If you are like me and have't really been working out then I would recommend starting with the walking as there are some very challenging parts within it.
I will be keeping you all updated with the progress of the training and there will definitely be a post about the run!

Starting Series Of Posts
I was thinking of ways that I could make my blog a but more fun for people and also easier to look for certain posts (if that's what you're doing). The idea that I came up with was to start series of posts that would all be kept under the 'Labels' section on my blog.
The kind of posts you'll find sectioned in this part are my hauls, DIY ideas, my fashion and beauty posts and any lifestyle ones I decide to do. I thought this would also make it easier for people to only read the posts that they are interested in as well because I do know that not everyone will like every post I upload. I think this will also be really fun for me as I will be able to explore new things to blog about and might even find some other hobbies in the mean time.
I really hope you all like this idea as I have already started to plan some posts to start a series on.

New Look Haul | May 2017
New Look recently started a sale and of course I had to go and look to see if there was anything I liked. In total I spent £35 which is really good for all of the things that I bought. Considering I bought quite a few things as well, it was only right for me to do a post about it.
Here are the things I bought:
Pale Grey Crew Neck Long Sleeve Top - £2
This pale grey top was originally £5.99 which isn't a huge saving but I really need some more grey tops as anything grey that I have are sweatshirts and I can't wear them in the summer. I thought this would go really well with a pair of black/white skinny jeans and trainers and is perfect for college.
Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Top (Light Grey & Pink) - £3
Deep Pink Choker Neck Cut Out Long Sleeve Top - £3
I saw this pink choker neck top when it was first put into my local stores and completely loved it. But, at the time I didn't have £9.99 to get it. So, when I saw this in the sale I had to have it! This is the only colour that is in the sale but I still think it will look nice with black/white jeans and boots.
Petite Blue Short Sleeve Boyfriend T-Shirt - £4
I have a pink boyfriend t-shirt that I got from New Look for Christmas and I love it. I also don't have anything blue in my wardrobe so thought I would add in a bit of colour for the summer. This top would also go nicely with a pair of black/white jeans. I will mainly use this top to lounge around in or for days out. It's a really nice top to just throw on and be comfy in. This top was originally £8.99
Mink V Neck Long Sleeve Bodysuit - £6
I love bodysuits. They are just really nice and comfy to wear and are so easy to style. I would wear this bodysuit with a pair of black skinny jeans and a bomber jacket or if it is a hot day I wouldn't wear the bomber jacket. The thing with bodysuits is that you can dress them up or down depending on where you are going!
This was originally £12.99
Black Colour Block NYC Leggings - £5
The only pair of leggings that I have at home are a size too big and so look really baggy when I have them on. When I saw these being reduced from £14.99 to £5 I thought it would be a nice pair to buy. Not only because of how much I would be saving but because they aren't just plain black either. I will be styling these with my workout tops for when I go for a run or to the gym.
Black Snakeskin Textured Shopper Bag - £7
I saw this bag so long ago and have always thought that 15.99 was too much for me to spend on a bag (I'm a cheapskate, I know). So seeing this for £7 just made my day. This would go really well with most of the tops that are in the post and is big enough for me to take to college as well. Due to the long strap and shape of the bag it will also be really easy to wear on my shoulder.
Pink Spliced Chicago Print Sweater
I loved this spliced sweater. I am quite fussy when it comes to spliced tops etc because I only like the way certain pictures/text looks together. This is just a simple spliced one though so I thought it was a start and I actually really liked it which was a little bit of a surprise to me. Due to this being quite a bright pink it is a good colour to wear in the summer but probably on the colder days. This was only £5 as well which is such a good price for a sweater!
I think that what I bought was really good and although most of it seems a bit simple I'm sure I will be buying more things over the summer. The reason why I put in the exact names of items is because if anyone likes them they will be able to easily search for it on the New Look website.

April Favourites
Now that April has come to an end, I can finally post my April Favourites!!
There has been so many things that I have loved this month and gradually been adding to this list but it would've ended up being such a long post so here are just a few of what was on my list...
Netflix | Prison Break, Pretty Little Liars & 13 Reasons Why-
Netflix has been releasing some really good series recently and others that I have already watched have been returning. My recent series that I have watched is 13 Reasons Why and it has to be one of the most emotional series I have ever watched. It definitely makes you realise that it can just be words that hurt somebody and that you might not be able to really see how someone is feeling behind their smile. Series that I have continued to watch since returning are Pretty Little Liars and Prison Break which are both very good series. I would definitely recommend them to you all. I have also been watching Reign which is another one I would recommend.
Thornton's Easter Egg-
It has been Easter recently so I just had to have a favourite on this list that relates to Easter so what better than an Easter egg! My sister bought me a really nice Easter egg from Thornton's that was milk chocolate with a butterfly that also had white chocolate on it. I just thought that it looked really nice and made a change to the same pattern that there is on pretty much every other egg out there. Of course, the egg tasted amazing too!
Pink Adidas Top-
As soon as Adidas released this pink top I just had to have it! I thought it was really nice and is a bit nicer than the normal white and black versions. Also, as we are coming up to summer it is a lighter colour that I would still be able to wear. I usually wear this top with plain black jeans and my Adidas Originals shoes.
Ted Baker Mascara-
My favourite mascara and maybe the best I have ever tried has to be my Ted Baker one that I got as part of the eyes 'sparkle & shade' set. I think it applies really well and looks really nice if you are going for a natural look. I find that it applies well, doesn't clump and has enough volume. I would definitely recommend it!
Lenovo ideapad 100S Laptop-
I have a Lenovo ... laptop that I use for my college work and blogging. In my opinion, this is a really good laptop for what i need to do and the battery on it is also very good. One thing I would say though is that if you have the brightness up all the way, the battery drains a bit faster (but that is expected).
New Look Phone Case-
My mum bought me a unicorn patterned phone case from New Look not long ago and it has probably been one of the best cases I ever had. The case itself is very sturdy and definitely makes me feel like my phone is protected. It's a really nice pattern as well which makes a change to having a plain one coloured case.
Spotify-
Throughout April I have done a lot of travelling and Spotify has helped my journeys seem a lot better. I use Jamie's Spotify premium which means I can download music and not use my mobile data. I listen to things that are currently in the charts (Ed Sheeran, Drake, Ann-Marie etc) but also listen to other artists such as Bugzy Malone. If you are thinking about whether Spotify premium would be worth getting, I would say yes if you are always listening to music while you're out and about because it makes it a lot easier to do.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what my favourites were last month,
See you soon x
Starting Photography
Before I start getting into this post, I would just like to say that I am not a professional photographer, I do it for a hobby and if I am honest, I am still pretty new to some things. But I thought it would be fun to write about one of my hobbies and one things I really love is photography.
If you are new to photography, the first thing I would say to you is that you don't need a high end camera straight away! If you are starting I would say all you need is a cheap camera to start you off and take your first pictures of things that don't move e.g. flowers.
After you have bought your camera, you'll probably wanting to be going straight out and taking loads of amazing pictures. Well, sorry to disappoint but they won't ALL be amazing. Once you have got your camera take some time to get to know what you can do on it, what the different settings mean and then experiment with them. A good feature to have on your camera is 'macro' which will focus on one thing and blur the background behind it.
Another thing you will need to consider is your backdrops/landscape. I like to make lists of possible places that I could go to and take some pictures. Photography doesn't necessarily mean that you can only go to that place once either. Each time you go, you will find something new to take a picture of. Thinking of places to travel to for portrait photography is also really good and saves you having the same background all the time.
Considering building a folder (whether it is an actual folder or online) with all of the pictures you take that you are proud of. This way you will be able to see how your photography skills have progressed over time. It's always nice to be able to look back on what you have taken pictures of and feel proud of what you have done.
Knowing when to 'upgrade your camera' is tricky. I would say that the perfect time is when you are feeling confident with your photography. Make sure that you are getting a lot of use out of your first camera and if you think you are dedicated to it enough, upgrade. However, before upgrading make sure you do your research! Many people can brag about the best camera ever but I would recommend getting the next camera up from whichever one you were first using as it is the brand you started with and got use to. But, if you do want to change completely just do your research.
Sometimes people make photography look so easy but just remember, it can take a lot of practice and getting use to your camera so don't rush or immediately think you're rubbish!
Hopefully this helps anyone thinking of starting photography a bit and thank you for reading!
